The tutorial guide "Syndromic Diagnosis in Internal Medicine Diseases" presents a current interpretation of the main therapeutic syndromes. Each syndrome is provided with a detailed description of the clinical data (including complaints, examination, palpation, percussion, auscultation) and paraclinical data (including laboratory diagnostics, instrumental research methods). Such an approach to the data presentation distinguishes this work from the common ones which are based on the isolated reflection (hypertrophy) of a particular clinical sign. An important feature of the book is the structure of the syndrome presentation. The final section of each chapter contains the clinical differential diagnostic value of the detected criteria. The emphasis on this important part of the syndromic diagnosis allows to start the initial differential diagnosis at the patient?s bedside and to form further logical medical thinking. The tutorial guide "Syndromic Diagnosis in Internal Medicine Diseases" meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education and Specialist?s Degree and Academic Course Working Program "Dentistry" approved by the Central Coordination Academic Council of Samara State Medical University. The tutorial guide is aimed at students of medical universities who study in the English-medium programs.
